A LUXURIOUS HIDEAWAY AT KIP & NOOK, YORKSHIRE

January 4, 2023 Molleigh Cook

Kip & Nook is a little patch of heaven nestled in the Yorkshire countryside and is the ultimate hideaway. As a treat for Key’s birthday this year, I booked Kip & Nook with relaxation and luxury in mind and we were treated to both and then some. Kip & Nook has a collection of unique and quirky places to stay from cosy containers and off-grid hideaways to a barn big enough for 8 guests. There is a stay for everyone in mind. We opted to stay in Big Bro, the newest addition to the Kip and Nook family and had everything we needed for a couple nights of relaxation.

ROBIN HOOD’S BAY, YORKSHIRE - A PHOTO DIARY

November 18, 2022 Molleigh Cook

I have had my eye on Robin Hood’s Bay for a while now and finally got to visit as part of our trip to the North East coast this September. The Bay is an incredibly picturesque village by the sea, known for its exciting smuggling history and fishing heritage which tumbles right down to the shore. Despite the tricky trip down (bent knees at the ready!), it really is a wonderful place to visit. The village is full of tiny passages and secret turns in which you’ll find artsy shops selling makers goods, restaurants serving up local dishes and a couple of pubs to whet your whistle. We totally recommend ordering a whisky and enjoying the very drink that was once considered contraband and smuggled up through the cobbled streets!

STAYING AT MOLLIES MOTEL & DINER, OXFORDSHIRE

July 27, 2022 Molleigh Cook

I am always looking for luxurious overnight stays not too far from home for a mid-week escape. Enter Mollies Motel, inspired by the traditional American motel and diner experience with an added modern twist designed by the same genius minds that created Soho House. Just under an hour away from home, Mollies in Oxfordshire is the perfect place to head for a night away to enjoy that American roadside experience with the added luxury of a super cosy night’s sleep.

THE LAKE DISTRICT | A PHOTO DIARY

February 28, 2022 Molleigh Cook

When I think of last summer, my trip to The Lake District springs to mind instantly. A trip that saw myself and my adventure buddy, Key, swimming in Derwent water, kayaking along Windermere, hiking up hills and lazily waking up in the back of our van to scenic backdrops. Artists and adventurers alike are drawn to the lakes for it is truly one of the most special places in the UK. I wholeheartedly agree.

GLAMPING AT THE DRAGON'S REST, HEREFORDSHIRE

January 16, 2022 Molleigh Cook

There is nothing I love more than having the opportunity to spend a long weekend away in the countryside. Having somewhere booked for January is always welcomed as I find the post-christmas gloom of the month can be overwhelmingly dreary. As it turns out The Dragon’s Rest, a trio of cosy cabins with glorious views across rolling fields, was the perfect place to get away for a reset.

A TRIP ALONG THE NORTH NORFOLK COAST

July 27, 2021 Molleigh Cook
Travel to North Norfolk

June is always a month of adventure for us. It is our birthday month and each year we head away on a fun camper trip somewhere in the UK. North Norfolk’s coastline has been on our to-see list for the longest time. We have read of the flat lands, windmills, and the villages full of flint houses and knew that eventually curiosity would get the better of us and we would have to visit.
